For the families of mobilized Kaliningraders, the procedure for assigning a number of social benefits has changed

In the Kaliningrad region, the procedure for assigning a number of social payments has changed for the families of mobilized citizens. This was reported by the press service of the regional government with reference to the decree signed by Governor Anton Alikhanov.

The adjustments made relate to six existing support measures that are now being provided to many residents of the region. “Among them are recipients of a one-time allowance for the birth of a child, a child allowance of 250/500 rubles, regional and additional regional maternity (family) capital, a monthly cash payment to a large family, a monthly allowance for student families with children. When applying for them, the average per capita income and family property are calculated without taking into account the data of a citizen called up for military service as part of partial mobilization from September 21, 2022, ”the message says.

According to the resolution, it is no longer required to provide certificates of income of conscripts and the movement of funds on accounts (deposits) in credit institutions.

“For objective reasons, the applicants do not have the opportunity to submit documents of mobilized men, which would prevent them from receiving social support measures. Therefore, we made an exception for such families. The changes will also make it possible to assign payments and child benefits to a larger number of residents of the region,” commented the Minister of Social Policy, Anjelika Meister.
