for Tito Ramírez, 20 years is nothing

Rubén Ramírez had his best years in the first division of Argentine soccer between 2005 and 2012. After debuting in the Primera B Nacional with Federal Shot of Rosariohis first step Colón ranked him as one of the strikers with the greatest projection.

He made the leap to Racing where he played little and then had a good time Banfield. After he stood out in Godoy Cruz and again with the Sabalero shirt.

In 2014 he went to Chile where he played in A bold Italian and returned to Tomba before beginning a long journey in the national ascent in Quilmes, Temperley, Guillermo Brown de Madryn, Huracán Las Heras and Dock Sud.

He started 2020 in the Vendenense League, where he played for Murphy’s Union and Culture, but the interruption due to the coronavirus pandemic took him away from the courts.

He recently returned in 2022 in a brief stint at Porteña Asociación, of the San Francisco Regional League, until finally arrived at Germinal de Rawson to play the Regional Amateur.

In the first leg Patagonian final against Independiente de Neuquén he had little participation, but He left flashes of his quality with the ball when it was his turn to intervene. Red’s defense knew how to contain him and he came out when he was averaging the second half.

“It was a complicated, difficult match against a great rival. We didn’t make any differences and it’s a result that doesn’t harm either of us,” Tito told Black river in La Chakra.

Ramírez highlighted the rival, who has gone six games without conceding goals. “For a reason they are here in the final, the same for us. We are going to try to win it on our court. There are always things to improve. We are not used to throwing balls and yes with the ball on the floor, but the rival also plays and they complicated us. The tie is important”, pointed out the historic striker.

“Tito” arrived for this tournament in the whole of the Chubut capital and rescued the good reception of the human group. “The boys have treated me very well since I arrived, I’m happy here. I am happy to have made the decision to come, I am going to continue until the body is no more and the legs say enough is enough”, added the attacker of 40 years.

One of the reasons why Rubén accepted Germinal’s proposal is related to the promotion ambitions. The Chubutense team has that objective as a beacon and is two games away from achieving it.

“There is a lot of competition in this tournament, We have the illusion of going up to Federal A but first we think about Sunday”, the player clarified.

With a view to the future and continuity in professional soccer, where he has been for almost 20 years, Ramírez explained that “I am comfortable in Germinal but the family also decides. I am very familiar, after the pandemic I did not want to have anything to do with playing football again. A friend took me to Porteña (Porteña Association, San Francisco Regional League, Santa Fe), and then they offered me the Germinal club. It’s hard to be away from family.”

Fredes and Parra, together in San Luis

Two other players with a long history in the first division who will be part of inland soccer in 2023 are the former Independiente de Avellaneda Hernan Fredes and Facundo Parra.

They are new reinforcements of the United University Youth of San Luiswho is a member of Federal A, where they will be rivals of Cipolletti and Sol de Mayo de Viedma.

The midfielder (35 years old) and the striker (37) shared a team last year in Chacaritawhich is in the First National.
