A car from the USA has been built for over 75 years. Now the model is also coming onto the market in Germany.
The Ford F-150 is one of the best-selling cars in the world, but the model has not yet made it to Germany. However, that will now change: the manufacturer from Detroit is now bringing the pick-up to the streets in four variants in this country (via:t-online).
The XLT and Lariat variants are supplied with a 5-liter V8 engine (294 kW / 400 hp). The prices here start at 95,000 and 115,000 euros respectively. In addition, Ford also offers the F-150 as a limited edition with a 3.5-liter V6 hybrid engine (316 kW / 430 hp). The range is completed by the Raptor, which has a 3.5 liter V6 engine (331 kW / 450 hp). The two top models cost 138,000 and 144,000 euros respectively.

Ford has sold a total of 40 million F-150 models since its introduction in 1948. This puts you in the top rank of the world’s best-selling cars of all time. Incidentally, the pole position is occupied by the Toyota Corolla, which has sold 50 million units. Third and fourth place goes to VW with the Golf and the Passat.
The truck continues to enjoy great popularity in the USA. It has been America’s best-selling car ever for 41 years. For the best-selling trucks, it’s even a full 46 years. In the States, however, the F-150 is also significantly cheaper. The top model Raptor is sold there from the equivalent of around 70,000 euros.
