Steering his minivan and carrying an instant camera, Alfred embarks on a northward road trip seeking a path toward healing. The journey forces him to navigate diverse topography, ranging from dense forest trails to arid deserts and rugged mountain passes. Along the way, players interact with various characters, piecing together their personal histories by inspecting objects found within the environment.

The instant camera functions as both a mechanical tool for puzzle-solving and a narrative device. Alfred uses the hardware to capture memories along his route, which directly aids in solving environmental puzzles.
