“I would say to Joshua Kimmich that coming to Barcelona is worth it,” the former Bayern striker told Polish reporter Tomasz Wlodarczyk.
“The environment here is different than in Bayern,” added the 34-year-old: “They are two big clubs, but everything is different. Of course the daily life, the language, the experience, the challenges…everything.”
Recently, rumors had been circulating that the Catalans would have the defensive midfielder, whose contract with Bayern expires in 2025, as the successor to Sergio Busquets. The club legend will leave Barcelona at the end of the season.
Bayern: Kimmich is considered unsaleable
However, there is nothing to the rumors circulating in Spain that Kimmich himself would like to hire Busquets as successor to the Catalans. Apart from that, the 28-year-old, who has been playing in Munich since 2015, is not for sale for the Bayern bosses.
