Former Colorado Forward JT Compher Signs Lucrative Deal with Detroit Red Wings, Joined by Shayne Gostisbehere

Former Colorado forward JT Compher will continue his career with the Detroit Red Wings.

He just broke the bank with a five-year, $25.5 million deal. He had a career-best season with 52 points, including 17 goals in 82 games.

The Stanley Cup winner with the Avalanche played seven seasons with Colorado. He will reunite with former University of Michigan Wolverines teammates Dylan Larkin and Andrew Copp.

The organization is also signing defender Shayne Gostibehere for one season. Last season, he collected 41 points in 75 games.
