Werner, who played as a defensive end for the Indianapolis Colts in the NFL between 2013 and 2015, joined the Berlin team in 2021. The footballers went into last season with high expectations, but then missed the playoffs by a long shot. Werner works as a TV expert for the NFL at RTL and hosts the podcast “Football Bromance” together with colleague Patrick Esume.
