Former coach Park emerged as a soccer hero by beating world powers Mexico and Uruguay at the 1983 World Youth Soccer Championships in Mexico and creating a miraculous semifinal myth. After that, he took the baton of the national team and achieved three consecutive professional victories. After that, he served as the founding manager of Daegu FC and Seongnam FC from the first president of the Korean Women’s Football Federation, continuing his reputation as the oldest soccer manager in the K-League in Korea.
However, although he achieved splendid success in football, his activities began to slow due to various controversies and personal affairs, and he suddenly disappeared, making everyone curious.

To make matters worse, he confessed that he was living alone in a shelter after his wife passed away. “I hate being indebted to, and I have a lot of pride. As I was traveling alone, it was very difficult to be at my daughter’s house and at a junior’s house. She lives on an old-age pension of 300,000 won and her son’s allowance of 300,000 won. Living is a mess,” he said, causing regret.
Above all, he, who suffered from depression and anxiety, said, “I am old, so I have many friends, but I have many disciples. It is difficult for me to call my disciples first. It causes severe dizziness, and it hurts my heart.”
