Former Zimbabwean cricketer Guy Vitale was seriously injured in a leopard attack. The actor was attacked by a tiger while he was taking a morning walk at a place called Humani. The star’s pet dog, Chikara, was also seriously injured while trying to stop the tiger.

An all-rounder, Vitale represented Zimbabwe in 46 Tests and 147 ODIs. Immediately following the attack, Vitale was taken by air ambulance to a hospital in the capital, Harare.

The new information is that Vittal, who underwent emergency surgery, is out of danger. Photos of Vitale, 51, lying in a hospital bed were shared by his wife Hannah Stokes on social media.

The injured dog was immediately admitted to the veterinary hospital and treated. This is not the first time wild animals have been sold.

Years ago, a giant crocodile eight feet long and weighing 150 kilograms was captured under Vital’s bed. The crocodile hiding under the bed was captured and handed over to the forest authorities.
