Fernando Alonso is enjoying the holiday season with Andrea Schlager, his new partner. The 41-year-old will certainly forget all the hardships of Formula 1 in recent weeks.

Alonso wanted a new two-year contract from his current employer Alpine (fourth in the World Cup). He was not given that, so he joined Aston Martin-Mercedes (ninth in the World Championship) and inherited the retiring Sebastian Vettel (35) in 2023.
Alonso’s departure meant that Alpine promoted replacement driver Oscar Piastri (21), only the Australian has no keen on the French and joined McLaren-Mercedes. The two parties are now meeting again in court in Geneva. (yup)
