Formula 1 | Leclerc: Red Bull not operationally superior to Ferrari

While Scuderia Ferrari have returned to the forefront this season and are fighting for victories once morest Red Bull, they have also made several mistakes operationally.

It thus probably caused Charles Leclerc to lose the victory at Monaco then at Silverstone and, of course, in Hungary, following strategic hesitations.

And if the Austrian team is considered superior to Ferrari on this operational part, committing practically no error vis-à-vis its strategies, the Monegasque does not think that his team has anything to envy to its rival in that level.

“No, I don’t think so. I have full confidence in my team. And I think we have shown following 2020 and 2021 that we are capable of getting back to the top,” said Leclerc.

“Of course we made mistakes in the last races, in Monaco, Silverstone and Hungary, but it can happen to any team. And we are more in the spotlight now that we are fighting for the wins.

“We are constantly trying to challenge ourselves in order to improve. For sure we have to improve, but I don’t think we have a particular weakness.”
