Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) wins the Australian Grand Prix in the Formula 1 World Championship.

Monaco’s Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) wins first place in the Australian Grand Prix of the Formula 1 World Championship.

Mexican Sergio Perez (Red Bull) came second, and Englishman George Russell (Mercedes) third.

This is the Ferrari driver’s second win this season, and his fourth in the Formula 1 World Championship.

Britain’s Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) came fourth, followed by his compatriot Lando Norris (McLaren) and his Australian team mate Daniel Ricciardo.

Leclerc remained at the top of the world championship with 71 points, ahead of Russell with 34 points and Spain’s Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) with 38 points.
