The Formula 360 Super Sport Crossover is a 36-foot luxury performance dayboat featuring an 11-foot-3-inch beam, an open-bow full-cabin design, and a 21-degree deadrise FAS3Tech stepped hull. Introduced by Formula Boats of Decatur, Indiana, the 360 SSC combines single-level deck space with overnight accommodations, including a double berth, aircraft-inspired galley, and enclosed head.

Engineering the 360 SSC Deck and Hull Architecture

The boat spans 36 feet with an 11’3″ beam, accommodating twin or triple outboard power configurations.

Formula continues its open-bow, full-cabin dayboat layout without sacrificing deck space. Unlike traditional center- or dual-console designs, the 360 SSC integrates a single-level deck alongside genuine belowdecks living quarters. Down below, operators will find a dedicated double berth, an aircraft-inspired galley, and a fully enclosed stand-up head, providing private accommodations rarely integrated into a hull of this footprint.

Cockpit Ergonomics and SmartZone Integration

Above deck, the vessel utilizes a full-width coupe top equipped with a top-to-bottom windshield and a sliding bow window to port. Owners can leave the aft cockpit open or enclose it with optional side window panes.

Seating layouts rely on Formula’s SmartZone design philosophy, maximizing usable surface area from the bow to the U-shaped aft lounge. The triple command helm station features chiseled support, adjustable seat bottoms for standing or sitting positions, and dual footrest heights. Entertainment hardware includes a standard Rockford Fosgate or Fusion stereo system with Bluetooth connectivity, USB ports, and ten JL Audio blue LED-lit chrome, color-coordinated, or titanium-finished speakers paired with a 600W amplifier and a 200W subwoofer.

Advanced Navigation and Control Systems

The helm station moves away from analog gauges in favor of a sturdy composite dash featuring a Liquid Black panel. Standard electronics include a Raymarine Axiom 2 12 GPS widescreen color chartplotter, with upgrade paths supporting twin Axiom 2 12 or XL 16 displays. Control systems leverage Mercury DTS with SmartCraft VesselView, waterproof accessory switches, and digital switching managed directly through the chartplotter interface.

Handling is managed via Mercury Joystick Piloting with Active Trim, paired with a leather-wrapped polished stainless tilt steering wheel. Additional dash amenities include a lockable storage compartment with a Liquid Black front, a USB-A/USB-C charging port, and two wireless charging pads. Across the bow and cockpit, occupants have access to 24 ergonomically placed beverage holders and multiple USB ports.

Onboard Amenities and Versatile Entertainment Spaces

Deck utility is further expanded by molded side doors for dockside boarding and a portside outdoor kitchen featuring a Corian countertop, a molded fiberglass sink with a flip-up cover, and a stainless Isotherm pullout refrigerator. Dual Corian-surfaced aft cockpit tables with filler cushions can be reconfigured for dining or sun lounging, while a YETI Tundra 35 cooler integrates beneath the aft seat compartment.
