Formula E: double blow for Mortara in Marrakech – rts.ch – Archyde

Edoardo Mortara scored twice in Marrakech during the 10th round of the Formula E season. The Genevan won and took the lead in the championship.

Mortara (35) thus won for the 3rd time in 2022 following leading a very solid and intelligent race. The Swiss driver of Italian origin was 2”297 ahead of the Portuguese Antonio Félix Da Costa, who started on pole, and of 6”270 the New Zealander Mitch Evans.

Overall lead

In the championship, Edoardo Mortara leads with 139 points. He is 11 lengths ahead of Frenchman Jean-Eric Vergne, 4th in Morocco, 14 over Belgian Stoffel Vandoorne and 15 over Evans. As often this season, Vaudois Sébastien Buemi had a difficult race, finishing in a disappointing 16th place.
