The regional financing commissions of the “Forsa” program have approved the financing of 452 projects, said Thursday in Rabat, the Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament, Government Spokesperson, Mustapha Baitas.
During a press briefing organized at the end of the Council of Government, held under the chairmanship of the Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch, Baitas specified that the regional financing commissions of “Forsa”, which selected nearly 18,000 projects that can be supported, assessed the financing needs expressed by the first tranche of project leaders to approve 452 projects.

The average funding requested amounts to 93,000 dirhams, including the grant of 10,000 dirhams, assured the minister, indicating that the government has mobilized the budget allocated for this purpose. And to add that more than 450 project leaders will be funded from next week.

Regarding the gender approach, Baitas indicated that women project leaders represent 20% of the selected projects (3,432), noting that these projects relate to agriculture, agri-food, trade, tourism, textiles, etc.
