Fortnite has opened a new season ‘Vive’ with a completely changed atmosphere.
Epic Games Korea announced on the 7th that it has started Chapter 3 – Season 3 ‘Vive’ in ‘Fortnite’, where the entire island provides a cheerful atmosphere like a huge party hall.
This season, a new terrain called ‘Reality Falls’ is revealed, filled with exotic plants like jumping mushrooms and purple trees.
The terrain offers a variety of activities, such as swimming under a waterfall, searching for loot in a cave, or floating in a geyser.
Also, if you plant the ‘Reality Seed’ harvested from the ‘Tree of Reality’, you can also grow a ‘Reality Sapling’ where you can get various items including myth loot. It’s also possible to get better loot every time you pull weeds.
Various new weapons have also been added. The ‘Designated Marksman Rifle’, which has a range between an assault rifle and a sniper rifle, and can be very effective in battle if mastered, the ‘Hammer Assault Rifle’, which shows great power at any distance due to its high rate of fire and unusual recoil, deals intense damage. There are two types of burst-fire pump-action shotguns, such as the ‘Revolver Shotgun’.
Unusual weapons such as the dubstep gun, boom sniper rifle and shock wave grenade, as well as utility items such as armor and repair tools are also returning.
Battle Pass users will be able to acquire several unique characters, this season’s Battle Pass purchasers will be able to unlock Star Wars Darth Vader, as well as five other characters, including Snap and Adira. Later in the season, you’ll also be able to unlock Indiana Jones, the protagonist of the ‘Indiana Jones’ series, dubbed the bible of adventure movies.
You can also proceed with quests related to new character snaps. New parts are unlocked for each quest completed, and it’s fun to combine different head, arm, leg and torso parts to create a living action figure.
To celebrate the release of Chapter 3 – Season 3, an event will be held for Fortnite players using Xbox Cloud Gaming. Anyone who logs in to Xbox Cloud Gaming can receive a dazzling dagger pickaxe as a gift and runs until June 21st.
