Good news for all fans of Fortnite confirmed this Thursday, May 5 Xboxas the popular game will be free to everyone with an Xbox Cloud Gaming account.
Following the agreement with Epic Games, this popular title can be used on iOS, iPadOS, Android phone or tablet or Windows PC with Internet access.
Catherine Gluckstein, Vice President and Head of Product, Xbox Cloud Gaming, confirmed the news in a statement:
“It is an important step to add a free title to the cloud games catalog as we continue our journey to the cloud. We are starting with Fortnite and we will look to bring more free games that people love in the future. At Xbox, we want to make gaming accessible to the 3 billion gamers around the world, and the cloud plays an important role in that mission. We just want you to have more choice in both the games you play and how you choose to play them,” he maintained.
