Foum Zguid dam (Souss – Massa region), under construction

The commune of Foum Zguid, in the province of Tata, will have a new dam in 2 years 4 months. Indeed, the governor of the said province, Salah-Eddine Amal, recently launched the work of constructing the dam. With a total cost of 42.2 million dirhams, it will be financed by the Ministry of Equipment and Water and its work will last 28 months. The infrastructure will have a total capacity of 0.33 million m3. This is a project that is part of efforts to address the region’s water deficit, said the Director of the Drâa-Oued Noun Hydraulic Basin Agency, Abdelati Kaimi.
