For the first time in history, the inhabitants authorized to vote in Villa Carlos Paz will use the system electronic vote: they will elect mayor and councillors; and governor and legislators. This city joins La Falda, Cosquín and Marcos Juárezwho will only participate in the provincial elections and already have experience using this system.

in the four locations the machines will replace the traditional Single Vote Ballot (BUS) that will be used in the other districts of the province of Córdoba. From the provincial Electoral Justice they guaranteed the transparency of the electoral act.

The company of Grupo MSA SA (the same provider from CABA, Salta and Neuquén) won the tender in Córdoba to provide the voting service and is in charge of providing the machines to the four locations.

How is electronic voting used?

In Carlos Paz, the system will work like this:

The voter must appear before the table of authorities, deliver their ID and receive the ballot.

1- First, you must place the ballot in the machine and select vote by complete list or by categories.

2-Then the “provincial authorities” will be able to be elected and immediately the step will be given to elect the “municipal authorities”.

3- Finally, the voter will be able to see what they voted and print their vote (green button), fold the ballot and return to the table.

4- At the table you must remove the special die and deposit the ballot in the ballot box.

It should be noted that, during the election, in all schools there will be test tables with personnel trained for this purpose who will provide help to all people who require it, as well as special attention to people with disabilities, reported from the Municipality of Carlos Peace.
