Four editors speak out about the charismatic crossover from China

Although there is nothing to mock Dargo, except for the strange name. Modular platform, load-bearing body, independent suspension, turbo engine, robotic gearbox with two “wet” clutches and all-wheel drive with fifth-generation Haldex multi-plate clutch, repeatedly tested on European cars.

In China, the crossover has an option with a forced rear differential lock, but this Dargo is not for sale in Russia. Although even without it, the car, as practice has shown, easily copes with not too hardcore off-road, and with hangings.

Dargo has short overhangs, a flat bottom, electronic blocking simulations, an honest 20 centimeters of ground clearance and as many as five off-road modes: Mud, Sand, Grass / Gravel, Snow and a kind of Pothole, which just helps to cope with diagonal hangings and drive through large pits and other obstacles. In short, if you do not plan to go on a crossover to trophy raids, then this whole set is more than enough.
