Shortly following 8 p.m. on Saturday evening in Hohenems, there was a traffic accident involving two cars, in which four people were injured. According to the police, an 18-year-old driver crashed head-on into the car of a 23-year-old.
On Saturday evening, the 18-year-old drove with another person in the car from Hohenems on Diepoldsauer Straße in the direction of the border crossing. When he wanted to turn left to the cinema, he overlooked the 23-year-old’s oncoming car and crashed into it head-on.
Both drivers and their passengers suffered minor injuries as a result of the violent impact and had to be taken to the hospital. Both cars were totaled. An alcohol test carried out on both drivers was negative.
