Four members of a family died in a collision between a car and a private bus in Thrissur. The accident happened around 1 pm today. The private bus was going from Thrissur to Vatanapally. The people in the car were coming from Chavakkad to Thrissur. St. Thomas College Rt. Teacher Vinson, his wife and relatives Thomas Joseph were in the car. The car went out of control and rammed into the bus. The car was completely destroyed by the impact of the accident.
Those trapped in the wreckage of the car were pulled out by cutting the car. Both were taken to Thrissur Ashwini Hospital and the other two to Thrissur Mother Hospital but could not be saved. The preliminary conclusion is that the cause of the accident may be the health problem of the person who was driving the car. Vinson was driving the car. The police got a conclusion from the eyewitnesses that it might have been a headshot. Vinson’s wife, Mary, is a retired teacher. The other two are retired officers.
