A four-year-old boy died and a seriously injured young woman was the result of a fire registered in a house in the city of Mérida.
The injured woman was identified as Beatriz Echeverría, 25 years old, who was diagnosed with second and third degree burns in more than 70% of her body, for which she remains in the Intensive Care Unit of the Autonomous Institute of University Hospital of the Andes (Iahula), under guarded forecast.
