Fourteen “car show-offs” denounced in Biel

In the followingnoon and evening of Friday April 15, the Bernese cantonal police stopped 29 vehicles for in-depth checks in the Biel region. Fourteen drivers who had “boosted” their vehicle were denounced for violations of the Road Traffic Act.

These motorists were particularly noted for having intentionally produced noise and accelerations with their car. As well as unauthorized modifications to their vehicle, specifies the Bernese cantonal police, this Saturday, April 16, in its press release.

Three cars seized

Fifteen cars were also accompanied for clarification to the expertise center in Orpond, where they underwent a technical check by police specialists. Unauthorized modifications were observed on three vehicles, which led to their being placed in police custody.
