Taipei – Foxconn founder Terry Gou has resigned from the Apple supplier board following running for Taiwan’s presidential post. The company said in a brief statement on Saturday that Gou had resigned “due to personal reasons.” His campaign team declined to comment. The billionaire announced his candidacy for the January election on Monday.
