The poor condition of the Armed Forces equipment has not only been known since yesterday
Linz (OTS) – In a statement, the state party secretary and security spokesman for the FPÖ Upper Austria, LAbg. Michael Gruber, reacted to media reports that a Hercules plane had not been able to fly our compatriots out of the crisis area from Hörsching as planned for a long time due to a technical breakdown: “It is regrettable, in what condition the material of our armed forces is in. The fact is that this has not only been known since yesterday. I therefore ask myself why neither the Foreign Minister nor the Defense Minister have a Plan B when it comes to evacuating their own citizens from crisis areas. A merger with more capable European partners should definitely be considered here. “If the lives of our citizens are at stake, we should have emergency plans in place to bring Austrians home quickly and safely,” said Gruber.
