The strategy of left-wing extremist infiltration of some media has once again come to the fore
Vienna (OTS) – FPÖ General Secretary NAbg. Christian Hafenecker, MA today criticized the massive violence emanated by members of the left-wing extremist Antifa yesterday against participants in the patriotic demonstration for remigration and against the continued population exchange through illegal mass immigration. The violence was also openly confirmed by journalists from the left-wing extremist scene. The extreme left-wing activist Markus Sulzbacher, who was employed as a journalist by the “Standard”, could hardly contain his joy when he tweeted at 5:36 p.m. after the end of the demo: “Right-wing extremists have just been beaten off the street on Wipplingerstrasse. There’s no other way to describe it.”
There was of course no indication of the perpetrators. However, this was provided by the activist Michael Bonvalot, who regularly accompanies patriotic rallies with a press card and “Antifa security”. He wrote on Twitter, evidenced by a video showing a manhunt by left-wing extremists: “Extreme right-wingers have to flee from anti-fascists in Vienna at high speed”.
Although left-wing extremists with a press card would like to be used by some mainstream media as sources for their demo reporting, these clear indications of left-wing extremist violence were missing yesterday. “On the contrary, attempts are being made to accuse the peaceful participants in the demonstration of violence against the police by constructing an attack on police officers out of a defense against left-wing extremists throwing bottles and stones, although videos prove that this does not correspond to the facts,” said Hafenecker. Even the scene where, according to Standard staffers, patriots “were beaten off the street” was blamed on the patriots in some mainstream media.
“It shows once again how far the left-wing extremist infiltration of some media has already progressed through their staff and their narratives,” said the FPÖ Secretary General, who called on the editors concerned to check their sources more carefully and not to be exploited by violent extremists to permit.
