Dubious role of Mariahilfer BV deputy. Lessacher

Vienna (OTS) The FPÖ Mariahilf reacts outraged to the latest revelations surrounding the Breitenlee property deal. The deputy district head of Mariahilf, Julia Lessacher, appears to be deeply involved in the scandal.
“The fact that Ms. Lessacher not only benefited, but that her SPÖ was actively involved in the rezoning process, represents a serious conflict of interest and raises serious questions regarding her integrity as a public official,” say FPÖ-Mariahilf district party leader Leo Kohlbauer and district councilor Yves Bertassi.

“The timing of Lessacher’s purchase of the property, her participation in internal meetings and, above all, her intensive cooperation with the chairman of the KGV Breitenlee suggest that she not only knew regarding the impending rezoning, but also actively promoted it,” describe the two FPÖ Politicians discuss the matter and point out that, according to their website, the allotment garden association has been trying to get the property reclassified since the 1990s – without success. Only following several high-ranking SPÖ officials acquired property did the profitable rezoning take place.
Kohlbauer and Bertassi are calling for all offices of the Mariahilfer deputy district head to be suspended until the allegations have been fully clarified.
