It was a local political note: The deputy Styrian FPÖ leader Walter Rauch resigned on Thursday as deputy to state party leader Mario Kunasek following 13 years, at the same time as southeast Styrian district party chairman. He decided to do so “during the district party leadership meeting on October 5, 2023,” it said in a press release from the state FPÖ.
