Anti-social SPÖ policy drives Wiener further into poverty
Vienna (OTS) – “One is already used to a lot, but the fact that the SPÖ is increasing rents in Vienna’s municipal buildings once more today surprises even the most critical observer. It is absolutely irresponsible and anti-social that the Viennese are being subjected to another burden in the middle of the greatest inflation crisis,” commented the Viennese FPÖ leader Dominik Nepp.
Since the previous year, rents in municipal housing in Vienna have risen by a whopping 24 percent.
“Many people no longer know how to finance their everyday life. And then Mayor Ludwig comes as a robber at Rathausplatz and takes even more away from them. The money goes directly to the financing of the minimum income for migrants and to the promotion of politically acceptable associations. Ludwig himself has become the greatest burden on the Viennese, from which they will free themselves in the next elections. A liberal mayor will reverse these price increases within 48 hours,” promises Nepp.
