2023-12-10 10:49:24

Vienna (OTS) In view of the current plans to oblige asylum seekers to provide support services in Upper Austria and Vorarlberg, the FPÖ Vienna social spokesman, LAbg. Wolfgang Seidl, makes it clear that a similar regulation is also urgently needed in Vienna.
“It is high time that we in Vienna wake up and realize that with our lax attitude towards asylum seekers we are not only undermining the legal system, but also burdening Vienna’s taxpayers with an additional 600 million euros in annual minimum security costs for asylum seekers,” explains Seidl and criticizes once more It is important that in Vienna the minimum income is also paid out to asylum seekers who are obliged to leave the country. “This irresponsible waste of taxpayers’ money is a slap in the face of every honest citizen and must be stopped immediately,” concluded Seidl.
