Only the FPÖ defends our Austrian neutrality and sovereignty – Von der Leyen has to go
Vienna (OTS) – “ÖVP Chancellor Nehammer’s support for another term in office for EU Commission President Von der Leyen is an announcement for the continuation of left-wing European policy and against Austria’s neutrality. Never before has an Austrian Chancellor spoken out more clearly than today in favor of Austria’s participation in a European army and thus an end to our neutrality. The FPÖ is therefore the only party that defends our neutrality and therefore sovereignty and categorically rejects Austria’s participation in acts of war,” said the FPÖ’s leading candidate for the EU elections, MEP Harald Vilimsky.
Vilimsky also refers to the countless insanities of the last few years under Commission President Von der Leyen. “Von der Leyen has undermined the sovereignty of the EU states and further promoted centralization. Your ‘Green Deal’, which was forced on member states, has severely damaged European industry and made life more expensive for people. The unbridled mass migration policy to Europe also continued during her term in office. The peak of the provocation is their demand for an EU Commissioner for Defense, i.e. a European Minister of War. If Nehammer now actively supports his EVP girlfriend Von der Leyen, then this is also a clear statement from the ÖVP for left-wing politics and warmongering to the detriment of Europe and its citizens. Only a strong FPÖ with its European partners can stop this madness,” emphasizes the liberal top candidate.
