Tuesday lunchtime, there is little going on at Framburi Fries, in the narrow restaurant on Vienna’s Rotenturmstrasse. The order goes straight to the Budl: an original Viennese veal schnitzel, chili sin carne with jalapeño sauce, spicy bacon cheese fries and truffle fries. Take away? No, to eat here. Choosing a seat is really difficult because the restaurant is almost empty. It’s a shame actually. The Styrian restaurateur Franz Grossauer’s business only reopened at the beginning of February, after being closed for three months due to problems with the neighbors.
