Paris – France wants to speed up the construction of new nuclear reactors. The National Assembly in Paris passed a law on Tuesday evening that provides for the removal of bureaucratic hurdles for the construction of six new reactors by 2035, as announced by President Emmanuel Macron. They are to be built near existing nuclear power plants. The approval procedures should be shortened for this.
