A Chanel jewelry store in the center of the French capital, Paris, witnessed an armed robbery carried out by four masked men.
A video clip circulated on social media showed the robbery.
The clip documented four masked people wearing black clothes leaving the shop on two motorbikes following seizing the jewels.
A source from the French police confirmed to “BFMTV” that the masked men were armed with a sniper rifle, stressing that no injuries were recorded among the citizens.
Store officials did not reveal the value of the stolen goods, and the police confirmed that they had no information on the identities of the thieves.
