Franco Armani renewed with River Plate and will not come to Nacional

During the night hours of this Tuesday, February 15, it was learned from Argentina that Franco Armani renewed his contract with River Plate for 3 more years.

Thus, the Argentine goalkeeper would be with the crossed band team until 2025. This was reported by journalist Germán Balcarce, coordinator of Revista 1986, called ‘the River fan’s magazine’.

This news would be a blow to the illusion of the fans of National Athleticwho dreamed of seeing him retire in the ‘purslane’; as promised in 2018 when his departure to the south of the continent was confirmed.

If Armani fulfills its entire contract with River, I would be 38 years old when this ends; a fairly high age where possibly Casilda’s is already considering his retirement.

Thus, Franco would continue in Marcelo Gallardo’s team, which he arrived in 2018 and where he has made a name for himself as one of the best goalkeepers in its history.
