“We need a concerted policy, the wolf knows no borders”
The prefects in charge of the departments of the French Jura and the management of the wolf call for a coordinated policy of prevention and shooting.
This time, the wolf just has to behave. Monday morning, the small communal hall of Labergement-Sainte-Marie, in the French Doubs, a stone’s throw from Vallorbe, was filled with dozens and dozens of representatives of breeders’ unions, NGOs, hunters, elected officials premises, police or environmental protection officials, to which were added no less than three French prefects and two representatives of the cantonal administration of Vaud.
