Emmanuel Macron travels to Limousin for two days to boast about his record

The President of the Republic is going to Limousin on Monday and Tuesday to present his report on rural areas. In particular, subjects such as white areas, the issue of the return of public services or even medical deserts, sensitive points, as the presidential election approaches.

Mr. Macron has been increasing field trips since December. After Cher and Allier in mid-December, then Aisne and the North in mid-January, the Head of State, still not declared a candidate for his re-election, will begin his new regional tour by Creuse, by going to Ahun (1,400 inhabitants) and Bourganeuf (2,700 inhabitants) on Monday.

On Tuesday, he is expected in Haute-Vienne, in Saint Léonard-de-Noblat (4,600 inhabitants) then in Oradour-sur-Glane.

The Head of State will be accompanied by several ministers: Jacqueline Gourault (territorial cohesion and relations with local authorities), Olivier Véran (solidarity and health) Julien Denormandie (agriculture and food), Amélie de Montchalin (transformation and public service) and Joël Giraud (rurality).

In Ahun, he will go to an agricultural school to talk about youth employment; in Bourganeuf, in a multidisciplinary health center. In Haute-Vienne, he will visit one of the 19 France services houses in the department and then a shared space in Saint-Leonard-de-Noblat. In Oradour-sur-Glane, he will decorate Robert Hebras, the last survivor of the massacre of June 10, 1944. In Aubusson, he will also decorate André Chandernagor, the 100-year-old former minister for European affairs under François Mitterrand.
