The richest woman in the world, L’Oréal heiress Françoise Bettencourt Meyers, has for the first time exceeded $100 billion in net worth, according to the Bloomberg agency’s ranking of billionaires.
The septuagenarian, heiress to the late Liliane Bettencourt, is a member of the management committee of the multinational founded by her maternal grandfather. She is in 12th place in Bloomberg’s billionaires ranking. She and her family hold 35% of the group’s stakes.
