The Secretary General of La Francophonie Louise mushikiwabo is a candidate for her own succession at the head of the organization which she has led since 2019. Visiting the VOA studios in Washington, the former head of Rwandan diplomacy promises to continue the reforms undertaken to reform and modernize this organization. The 18th summit of the Francophonie is scheduled for the end of November in Tunisia.
At the microphone of Abdourahmane Dia, Louise Mushikiwabo said that the accession of French-speaking countries like Togo and Gabon to the Commonwealth should rather be seen as an opportunity and not a threat to the French-speaking space.
