Frédéric Janssens’ Legal Battle: Updates on Walloon Parliament Disciplinary Procedure

2023-12-14 08:40:00

As planned, Frédéric Janssens presented himself this morning at 9 a.m. sharp to the Walloon Parliament. The appeals chamber, made up of four Registry staff members, a secretary and an emeritus magistrate, will hear him regarding the disciplinary procedure launched once morest him by his employer, the Office of the Walloon Assembly.

He decided to offer him an automatic resignation, to put an end to the suspension measure which has been running since September 2022. Which he refused.

Accompanied by his lawyer Pierre Joassart, the registrar made a few brief statements before entering the “Saint-Gilles”. He says he has new elements to put forward. “And I want to put an end to the current disciplinary procedure.”

More information soon.
