A freight train carrying grain derailed Thursday without causing any casualties in Crimea annexed by Russia, Russian authorities said, in the midst of a series of incidents and sabotages regularly attributed by Moscow to Ukraine.
“In the Simferopol district, wagons carrying grain derailed,” the governor of annexed Crimea, Sergei Aksionov, said on Telegram. In a statement, the local railways claimed the incident was the result of “the actions of third parties”.
