It would have been a shame to be eliminated on penalties. It remains an achievement, especially against this Grenoble team which plays well in Ligue 2 and started its match perfectly with a goal and a post. I’m proud of everyone! In 32e final, it would be great to play against a Ligue 1 team, to have a good showing at home.”
Jordan Scarantino (Chambéry striker): “It’s a huge joy. We have been playing against professionals for two or three years and this is the first time we have passed. I am proud of our collective. We suffered, being timid in the first ten minutes but we were able to come back. We were exceptional, being better than Grenoble on penalties, even if it was a bit of a lottery. I put myself as sixth shooter, it fell on me I transformed it, so much the better. It is enormous ! It marks the history of the club and Chambéry Savoie Foot. We are making an impression in our new stadium, it’s exceptional.”

In 32e final, the ideal would be to play again at the Chambéry Savoie Stadium, against a Ligue 1 that would be good, it gives strength to play here.
Vincent Hognon (Grenoble coach): “We got into the match well and we were in the spirit at the start. But in this kind of match, you can’t be wait-and-see and we were too wait-and-see. We also displayed far too much technical waste. Ditto on our offensive realism. We have eight, nine chances and we don’t put anything in the bottom line.
