Paris: World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz and superstar Novak Djokovic will not meet in the finals of the French Open tennis men’s singles starting on Sunday! With yesterday’s fixtures coming in one part of the draw, the two will face each other in the semi-finals if they win all their games. Spain’s Alcaraz has more chances this time than Djokovic who has 22 Grand Slam titles.
The 20-year-old Alcaraz is also the number one seed at Roland Garros. Djokovic is the third seed. Clay court legend Rafael Nadal is not playing at the French Open for the first time since his debut in 2005. Defending champion Iga Syamtek is the top seed in the women’s category.
