23-year-old Ruud defeated Croatian Marin Cilic (ATP 23) in the second semi-final of the French Open on Friday 3-6, 6-4, 6-2, 6-2. The Norwegian meets Rafael Nadal (ATP 5) on Sunday (3 p.m.), who is aiming for his 14th title in Paris.
The semi-final game is now interrupted for more than ten minutes. An environmental activist ties herself to the net during the third set, her t-shirt showing a message. Both players were taken to the catacombs during the hiatus. (AFP)
