French singer Louane announced on Instagram that her sixth studio album, titled Watch Out, will be released on November 27, 2026. Pre-orders open on September 14. The release arrives just a day after the artist turns 30, coinciding with her milestone tenth year in the music industry.
An Unfiltered Aesthetic for a Milestone Era
The project follows a busy period for the artist, who married Florian Rossi earlier in 2026 and currently stars in the stage play 2:22, A Ghost Story at the Théâtre Fontaine in Paris, alongside serving as the face of Charlotte Tilbury’s cosmetics campaign. The visual campaign for the upcoming record kicked off with an unvarnished moodboard and a stark album cover.
The cover art features the singer looking downward with visible tattoos and a neck ring, photographed in a deliberately raw aesthetic. Louane addressed the imagery directly, framing it as a statement of sincerity rather than provocation. Her online posts regarding the visual direction made her creative stance clear: “The DA, it’s: I’m 30, I do what I like. No instruction manual, no big explanation, just music.”
Vulnerability Over Viral Metrics
Speaking previously on NRJ, Louane detailed the thematic core of the record. Describing the project as deeply vulnerable, she explained the double meaning behind the title. “It’s an album that is very vulnerable and so it’s a ‘Watch out’ which means ‘watch out with sweetness, with attention,'” she noted, adding that the tracklist explores personal territory untouched in her previous releases.
The record will incorporate previously released singles such as “Conduire” and “Tout pour moi,” building on a discography that began with her debut Chambre 12 in 2015 following her appearance on The Voice : la plus belle voix.
