School rhythms have been modified in French-speaking education. As a result, since this year, students in French-speaking education and those in Dutch-speaking education are no longer systematically on vacation at the same time.

Flemish teachers in favor of alignment with the French-speaking system?
A total of 1,610 people, mostly living in Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia (60% French-speaking and 40% Dutch-speaking), responded to this survey.
” It is quite clear that the people interviewed, whether they are for or once morest the French-speaking system, are unanimous on the fact that the two systems must be standardized in our country. There are many people who are for this system. Nearly 70% of Dutch-speaking teachers are in favor of an alignment with the French-speaking system” explains the Molenbeek alderman who wants this survey to open up the debate on the Dutch-speaking side.
It is true that the figure is striking: 192 Dutch-speaking teachers, out of the 281 questioned (68.33%), declared themselves in favor of the French-speaking system.
