On Monday, French schools should pay tribute to history teacher Samuel Paty, perhaps with a minute’s silence. A young Chechen beheaded him with a knife on October 16, 2020, northwest of Paris. He had been bothered by the fact that Paty had shown cartoons of Mohammed in class.
