Storing candles to deal with an energy blackout? The idea is in the air in Switzerland in view of a winter of all dangers. But it will probably not be enough for banks, which must ensure the continuity of their operations at all times. Transfers, stock market orders, access to accounts, all these operations must be able to be carried out even in the event of power cuts or a pandemic which would put a good part of the employees on the side. In this context, new legal requirements will apply in Switzerland from January 1, 2023 to oblige banks to ensure operational resilience.
