The report also highlighted the Atlantic Initiative proposed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, allowing countries in the Sahel region that do not have direct access to the sea to take advantage of Morocco’s maritime infrastructure in the Sahara to develop a port in the Atlantic Ocean.
